Remote Monitoring

  1. Install XQuartz : Give your MacBook Pro the capacity to do X11. (Google it and install the latest version, I think its 2.7.7)
  2. ssh to lxplus.cern.ch as daquser. Use the "-X switch to enable the graphic export of X.
    1. . ./setupBL4SDAQ_bash This "sources" the environment for the remote X session
    2. ohp -c public/bl4s-ohp.xml to run the X DAQ session remotely.
  3. Don't mess anything up ... just view !
  4. exit cleanly ... from the DAQ session and from the ssh session.
