Venue

The school will be held at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.

While we will be moving around a little during the conference (see the programme page), most of the venues are within Senate House on Wits East Campus, roughly where the big black cross is on the map below.

Individual venues

The following venues are used at different times in the conference (see the programme page for details):

SH3123	Third floor Senate House, on the Eastern side of the Senate House Concourse (the large open area with Senate House). The room is labelled "Seminar Rooom 2"
Senate Room	The carpeted area outside the Senate Room on the second floor of Senate House. It is on the Eastern side of Senate House, near the stairwell, behind glass doors. It is just down the corridor from the e-lab where the laboratory session are being held.
e-lab	One of the computer labs in the maths/sciences laboratories on the second floor of Senate House
Wits Club	We will have the braai (barbeque) at the Wits Club on Wednesday evening. This is at the bottom of Wits west campus. There is a map here.
SHB1 / SHB2	These are lecture halls on the basement level of Senate House.
Amphitheater Foyer	This is in the theatre complex on East Campus. (To the right of Senate House on the map above.) The foyer is one floor down from the main Dulce cafe.
SHB1 / SHB2	These are lecture halls on the basement level of Senate House.
SH3113	Round the corner from SH3123.
Moyo’s Zoo Lake	Not on Wits campus. There is a map here.
SHBA	Another lecture hall on the basement level of Senate House, down the corridor from SHB1 and SHB2.
