Becoming a CERN USER and an ATLAS Member

• After you are registered (both CERN USER - ATLAS Member)- you get an e-mail address and have authorization on the secure pages ... go here

Getting a Computer Account

• After you are registered as an ATLAS member, and your computer account is activated ... visit the ATLAS Twiki page for novices in the use of the computing system.

Your GRID Certificate

• If you are an ATLAS member ...... see this site.
• Previously
  • You must visit Francois Wolmarans of the UJ ICS Centre and show him your ID and he will assit you to obtain a GRID Certificate for the SA-Grid.
  • Later on ... it is a matter of adding the ATLAS VO to the authorization list of your SA-AGrid certificate.
