Preparing to be a UJ-ATLAS member

1.  Becoming a CERN USER and an ATLAS Member

• See the procedure here http://atlassec.web.cern.ch/atlassec/Registration.htm
  and start doing ALL the admin listed there.

2.  Getting a Computer Account

• After you are registered as an ATLAS member, and your computer account is activated ... visit the ATLAS Twiki page for novices in the use of the computing system.

3.  Additional Administration

4.  Your GRID Certificate

• If you are an ATLAS member ...... see this site.
• Previously
  • You must visit Francois Wolmarans of the UJ ICS Centre and show him your ID and he will assit you to obtain a GRID Certificate for the SA-Grid.
  • Later on ... it is a matter of adding the ATLAS VO to the authorization list of your SA-AGrid certificate.
